Our Team

As a kid, Jeff once dreamed of becoming an astronaut, but it was a 6th grade guest speaker on architecture that set him on the path toward design. Today, at Frank Land Design, he enjoys the variety of projects and—most of all—the people he works alongside.

At home, Jeff’s crew includes his wife Michelle, their dog Nike, and two cats, Loomis and Elmo. Weekends often mean a trip to the farmer’s market in Raleigh, a simple joy he and Michelle enjoy together. When it comes to comfort food, Jeff is a pizza guy through and through. While he’s not big on emojis, you might occasionally catch him dropping a 👍.

If he could choose a superpower, Jeff would take to the skies—flying wherever life might carry him. For now, though, he’s happy building meaningful projects and strong relationships with the team at Frank Land Design.

Meagan Frank - Co-Owner and Business Manager

Meagan didn’t always picture herself in civil engineering—her childhood dream was to own a coffee shop, and she later built a career in business analytics. But when the opportunity came to help launch and grow Frank Land Design, she jumped in wholeheartedly. Today, she runs the business side of the firm, overseeing finances and development while helping to shape the company’s future. What excites her most is building a workplace where everyone feels like family and where family always comes first.

At home, Meagan’s favorite coworker is her dog Barney, who keeps her company while she works. Weekends often mean time with her husband Garrett and their daughter Avery Cate—who already loves to build and might just be a future architect. The family loves beach trips together, and one of Meagan’s bucket-list dreams is to visit Australia.

When she’s not managing the business, Meagan enjoys unwinding with a good book. She’s passionate about creating balance between work and family, and she’s proud to be helping build a firm that reflects those same values.

Garrett Frank - President

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Jake Lewis - Project Manager

From a young age, Jake knew civil engineering was the path for him—though he once dreamed of being a marine biologist before trading in the ocean for land development. At Frank Land Design, he’s excited about the potential of the firm, the quality of the work, and the lasting impact their projects will have on local communities. His favorite project so far? Helping with the site study for the new Pittsboro Town Hall, a project that will play a big role in the community for years to come.

Outside of work, Jake is all about family and the outdoors. He and his wife are raising two little ones, and he loves spending evenings in the garden with them—watering, weeding, and picking vegetables together. His toddler keeps work-from-home days extra entertaining (though productivity levels may vary).

When it’s time to recharge, you’ll find him hunting, fishing, or dreaming of his bucket-list adventure: elk hunting in the Rocky Mountains. He’s also a self-proclaimed candy enthusiast, a loyal Bob’s Burgers fan, and never too far from dropping a 😂 in conversation. If he could choose a superpower? Easy—he’d be invincible with Wolverine’s claws.

What drives him every day is simple: providing for his family and building a company that values relationships as much as results.
